Qatar's Sheikh Jassim has today submitted a new bid to take full control of Manchester United.
Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani has submitted the offer directly to the club’s owners, the Glazer family and Raine Group, who are managing the sale of the club.
The bid is to buy 100 per cent of United but still faces competition from INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
It is understood the Glazers value the club at £6bn, with the process of the sale starting back in November of last year.

Today's bid was Jassim's fifth since Mail Sport revealed details of the first back in February.
The bid from the Qatari remains for total control of the club and will be Jassim's last bid.
The Glazers value the club at around £6bn and the improved offer does not meet the set figure.
