The simmering feud between rugby league siblings Matty and Andrew Johns continues to fester, with 'Joey' a no-show on SEN Radio on Friday for the second successive week.

In the lead-up to Friday's show, older brother Matty said he still didn't know if the Newcastle Knights premiership-winning captain would honour his radio commitments.

'I'm just going to leave the studio door open,' he told News Corp.

'If he walks through the doors at one minute to nine then he does, if he doesn't we will just have to make do.'

And come Friday at 9am, the younger Johns - the code's eighth Immortal - was once again absent over the airwaves, with Fox Sports identity Matty and respected sports journalist Andrew Webster failing to address the elephant in the room.

The feud started in the lead-up to the Origin series opener, when Matty Johns lauded Queensland's ability to deliver in the big moments and praised coach Billy Slater.

His on-air comments incensed young brother Andrew, who is as passionate as they come when it comes to the Blues.

He is also part of the NSW coaching staff.

'Mate, I'm sick of you rapping Queensland, that's what I'm sick of,' Andrew, who is widely regarded as the Blues' best ever player, fumed on live radio last month.
