New York Jets' Aaron Rodgers joked that his new quarterback rival Zach Wilson hasn't followed through on his threat to make life in the Big Apple tough for the veteran after his trade.  

Last season, Wilson made headlines when he told reporters that if New York acquired a veteran QB during the offseason he would 'make that dude's life hell in practice every day.'

When Rodgers landed in New York after the Jets acquired him from the Green Bay Packers in April, he liked a tweet from Barstool Sports republishing Wilson's now infamous quotes. 

But the youngster seemingly hasn't gone after his quarterback rival as Rodgers praised his new teammate as 'incredible.'

The 39-year-old joked with reporters during his media duties Friday, saying: 'He's been incredible. He hasn't made my life hell everyday.'
