Stephen A. Smith has hit out at what he believes to be unfair racial bias towards him and new 'First Take' partner Shannon Sharpe.

Sharpe, following his departure from Fox Sports' 'Undisputed' with Skip Bayless, will begin his new twice-weekly role opposite Smith on September 4.

But while Smith is excited to add the Pro Football Hall of Famer to the show, he's insulted by the notion that the pair will just 'scream at each other all day long.' 

'I'm seeing a lot of stories circulating. And when you have stuff that's circulating - Shannon Sharpe is coming and they talk about 'What the hell is Stephen A. gonna do?' They're just gonna scream at each other all day long,'' he said on the "Stephen A. Smith show.  

'Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, I've seen plenty of times when Shannon Sharpe hasn't been screaming. I've seen plenty of times when I haven't been screaming.
