Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has been fined $48,333 for illegal use of his helmet during their Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns - despite not being penalized during the game.
On the play in question, Warren took a short pass from quarterback Kenny Pickett for a large gain on third-and-3 before lowering his helmet as Browns safety Juan Thornhill approached him to make the tackle.
After Thornhill also lowered his head the two players collided helmet-to-helmet before they both fell to the ground out of bounds.
Referees on the field did not throw a flag on the play as it appeared to look like nothing more than a standard big hit that is seen countless times
