A heartbreaking video of Josh and Laura Vickers' wedding shows the couple sharing their big day with friends and family just three months before she passed away from cancer.

The Derby County goalkeeper revealed today that his new wife lost her life following a years-long battle with the disease.

The 27-year-old, who started his career with Arsenal, married Laura at an intimate ceremony at Holmewood Hall in Cambridge on June 1.

Their stunning wedding video captured touching moments from the day, including Laura getting ready and walking up the aisle to Josh as he looks at her lovingly.

Josh said in his touching tribute to his late wife today: 'We have cried, laughed and danced our way through some tough times.' 

The clip shows how Josh was unable to take his eyes off his stunning bride as they walked through the grounds of the stately home. 

In one frame the loving couple pose with their pet French bulldogs, who the videographer jokingly described as 'their kids'. 

Another shows a close-up of Laura's tattoo of her husband's initials and a red heart on her arm.

Loved ones could hardly hold back the tears as they celebrated the couple's love, while Josh and Laura could not stop beaming following the ceremony.

Videographer Ryan Moore said: 'This was an emotional one! Hearing Josh and Laura's story was amazing, they are perfectly suited for each other!' 

The couple tied the knot after Josh proposed to Laura in Canada last year. They moved into their first home together back in 2019.

Vickers documented Laura's lengthy battle with cancer on Instagram, including numerous rounds of chemotherapy.
