Cristiano Ronaldo was taunted by Al-Ettifaq fans as they sang Lionel Messi chants against him on Tuesday - and he couldn't resist biting back. 

Supporters chanted 'Messi, Messi' and eventually the Al-Nassr star's patience snapped as he shushed the crowd. 

Al-Nassr had the last laugh over Steven Gerrard's side in the King Cup clash as they advanced to the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win thanks to a Sadio Mane goal. 

Ronaldo celebrated extravagantly and cupped his ears to the away supporters after his team-mate's stoppage-time winner. 

However, the earlier chants spoke home truths to CR7 after Messi won his eighth Ballon d'Or on Monday night to move three ahead of his Portuguese rival.
