Carlo Ancelotti reportedly has until New Year's Eve to give his approval to become the next manager of Brazil.
The Real Madrid boss has been widely tipped to leave his post at the Santiago Bernabeu to make his first venture into international management with the South American nation.
Brazil Football Confederation president Ednaldo Rodrigues claimed in July that Ancelotti will take over from current interim boss Fernando Diniz by the time of the 2024 Copa America in the United States next June.
However, nothing as yet has been officially signed or confirmed for Ancelotti to make the switch.
Spanish radio station Cadena Cope have now reported that it is 'expected' for the 64-year-old Italian to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.
