JJ Watt believes the NFL is headed more towards flag football than the hard-hitting spectacle it's been for several decades.

The longtime Houston Texan shared his thoughts on how the league's decisions have put itself in a place of pigskin purgatory.

'The discussions of flag football, and now we're getting it in the Olympics, which is great. I love flag football, it's a great sport. But we are literally headed towards that direction as a league,' Watt said Wednesday on The Pat McAfee Show.

'If that's what you want to be fine, just say it,' Watt
