James Harden is ready to sacrifice his style of play to win a championship, according to Los Angeles Clippers' president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank.
'He wants to be part of something bigger than himself,' Frank said. 'He's had all the individual awards. He's about doing something really special.'
'James Harden should have been an All-Star last year,' Frank continued. 'But he's a 10-time All-Star. He has an elite skill set, and all he cares about is one thing: he wants to win a championship for the LA Clippers.'
In his career, Harden has made one NBA Finals appearance, a loss to the Miami Heat as part of the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012.
Harden is now surrounded by a different star-studded lineup of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook.
