Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb was carted off the field with a left knee injury during the first quarter of Thursday's contest against the Tennessee Titans.
The Steelers quickly ruled Holcomb out for the rest of the game.
After their 20-16 victory over the Titans, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin admitted the problem looked a 'serious' one.
'Our thoughts and prayers are with him,' Tomlin said.
Holcomb was injured while chasing after Tennessee's DeAndre Hopkins on a 29-yard gain late in the opening quarter. Pittsburgh safety Keanu Neal also was in pursuit and his left leg slammed into Holcomb's leg as he passed by.
