Mason Mount has been accused of avoiding the ball and not taking responsibility on the field for Manchester United, as Erik ten Hag's side's woeful start to the season continues. 

The former Chelsea star arrived at Old Trafford on a £60million deal after having been made a priority target for Ten Hag, but has struggled to deliver on the price tag this term.

He is not the only one, though, with United failing to put together any semblance of form so far, and have lose their last two games by three goals to nil in front of their home crowd. 

Mount had forged a name for himself as one of the best young, English creative midfielders in the Premier League at the Blues, but after an injury-riddled last season he appears low on confidence and form on the field. 

Former United star Louis Saha has slammed the summer arrival, admitting some of the things he has seen from Mount are 'shocking'.
