Ben Stokes offered a brutally honest response when asked for his verdict on England's woeful World Cup title defence, with Jos Buttler's side winning just one game from six so far.
Having won the T20I World Cup last year, England came into the tournament as the double white-ball world champions, and were therefore considered among the favourites to go all the way again.
But an opening day defeat by New Zealand quickly dampened those hopes, and although a win over Bangladesh followed, subsequent losses to Afghanistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and India put England all but out of the tournament.
As such, England's Test captain - who was drawn back in after retiring from ODIs - spared no bones in his verdict on where it has gone wrong for his team.
'I think the problem is that we've been c**p, to be honest with you,' he said.
