Jack Grealish insists that John Gregory's claim his X-rated rant from the touchline got the England star subbed off while at Notts County in 2013 'never happened'.
Grealish, 28, spent the 2013-14 season on loan to Notts County from Aston Villa, making 38 appearances and scoring five goals for the League One club.
Gregory, who was managing Crawley Town at the time, told a podcast that he was responsible for the mind games behind Grealish being taken off during a game in West Sussex in December 2013 - a claim which Grealish disputed on Instagram.
Gregory "told the Undr the Cosh podcast: 'I actually got Jack Grealish taken off once. He was on loan at Notts County from Villa... He must have been about 18 or 19 at the time.
'I'm in the dugout and whenever he came near me, I said, "F***ing Jack Grealish. Aston Villa. F***ing rubbish. No wonder they've f***ing sent you
