Archie Manning has insisted grandson Arch is still 'happy with the decision he made' to sign with the University of Texas, despite not playing for the Longhorns yet. 

The highly-touted prospect, the nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli, was one of the top-ranked quarterbacks of his class when he chose the Longhorns over a number of schools.

But he's had a frustrating start to life in Texas and finds himself behind starting quarterback and sophomore Quinn Ewers and redshirt freshman Maalik Murphy.

Despite that, grandfather Archie is adamant that Arch doesn't regret signing with the Longhorns and was quick to point out Peyton and Eli's differing journeys through their college careers. 

'Every situation is different. If you remember, Peyton and Eli went to school early for spring training,' Archie told The Spun.
