Jamie Carragher suggested he and Gary Neville will grace Sky Sports' Premier League coverage for some years to come after the broadcaster's new rights deal was secured.

Sky has bought the rights to air 215 matches per season between 2025 and 2029 as the Premier League agreed a deal with them and TNT Sports worth £6.7billion.

In the wake of the news, Carragher shared a Dumb and Dumber poster on Instagram with him and Gary Neville as the star characters.

'Four more years of me and @GNeville2,' he wrote on his Instagram story.

Carragher and Neville first debuted as a duo on Monday Night Football in 2013 and have become a fan favourite ever since with their mix of insight and humour.

Sky's mammoth new package will see them pick up 215 matches per season in comparison to TNT Sports' 52.
