Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox have backed Nick Sirianni amid speculation on the 46-year-old's future as head coach of the Eagles after Philadelphia's abysmal end to the 2023-24 season, including a first-round playoff exit.
Sirianni met with team owner Jeffrey Lurie on Wednesday after Monday's blowout wild card loss to the Tampa Buccaneers, though 'circumstances are anything but routing,' according to SB Nation's Bleeding Green Nation.
Before the start of the postseason, the Eagles had lost five of their last six regular-season games since December 3. That includes defeats to the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants - teams with worst records than Philly's at the time.
On Wednesday, when asked if he's 'gotten any wind' of what's going to happen with Sirianni and if he's confident the 42-year-old will return for the 2024-25 season, Cox initially seemed confused, at first.
'What about Nick?' said the veteran defensive tackle before being asked to clarify his thoughts on speculation about whether Sirianni will be fired in the near future.
