Aussies looking forward to the Super Bowl should be getting ready to clear their Monday schedule to catch the highly anticipated match and half-time festivities.

Hundreds of millions of people are expected to tune in worldwide to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

The program will also feature A-list entertainers during the half-time show and glimpses of mega-star Taylor Swift cheering on her boyfriend and Chiefs star, Travis Kelce.

When does the Super Bowl start?

The final game of the 2023-24 season will kick-off at 10:30am AEST and can be watched for free on Seven or on ESPN and KAYO. 

However, pre-game entertainment starts about 15-20 minutes beforehand with country music star Reba McEntire performing the USA's national anthem while Post Malone and Andra Day are set to perform 'America the Beautiful' and 'Lift Every Voice and Sing' respectively.

The game is expected to finish at about 2pm AEST.
