Rob Edwards labelled the moment Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch against Bournemouth as the 'scariest moment of his life' after opening up about the shocking incident.

The Luton Town captain suffered a cardiac arrest at the Vitality Stadium on December 16 - the second time it has happened in his career after previously collapsing in last season's Championship play-off final at Wembley.

Lockyer received immediate medical attention from club staff and paramedics as he lay prone on the pitch before being rushed to hospital for further treatment and tests.

The match was then abandoned as both sets of players, staff and supporters inside the ground struggled with the upsetting scenes that had played out in front of them.

Lockyer was discharged four-days later and is continuing to recover but it is yet to be seen if he will ever play again following his second life-threatening health scare.
