Australian Steve Erceg has shocked fight fans at UFC Fight Night 238 on Sunday morning with a stunning walk-off knockout of Matt Schnell on the main card opener. 

Erceg, 27, entered the bout as a heavy favourite, and after the opening round it was easy to see why.

The Aussie showed crisp boxing against his ranked flyweight opponent, and less than 30 seconds into the second round 'Astro Boy' caught him with a perfect left hook that sent Schnell crashing to the canvas.

It was an impressive performance for Erceg who secured his third straight win in the Octagon - and extended his overall winning streak to 11.

 'It's amazing,' Erceg said of the KO finish.
