Arsenal's star man Bukayo Saka has revealed who his idol was growing up, insisting he has 'so much respect' for the 'disciplined, focused and special' Premier League legend.
Saka, who came through the ranks at boyhood club Arsenal and is now one of the best players in the Premier League, surprisingly grew up idolising a player from one of the Gunners' rivals.
Aged just 22, the England international was only two years old when Arsenal's 'Invincibles' won the Premier League and was six when Thierry Henry left north London for Barcelona in 2007.
Saka has revealed that former Manchester United icon Cristiano Ronaldo was his 'idol' growing up and insists he has a lot of respect for the 39-year-old veteran.
The Gunners star, who has registered 16 goals and 15 assists across all competitions this campaign, claims the longevity of Ronaldo's career is what makes his most impressive.
