A Green Bay Packers fan bizarrely predicted in April 2023 that Aaron Rodgers would emerge as Robert F. Kennedy Jr's running mate.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that Kennedy approached both Rodgers and former WWE wrestler Jesse Ventura, an ex-governor of Minnesota, about appearing on his ticket.

ABC News reported on Wednesday that Kennedy had already made a decision - and informed the person of his intentions - but Ventura's son insisted 'there has been no formal offer from the Robert Kennedy camp.'

Rodgers - who is in Costa Rica on an ayahuasca trip - had no idea the news was going to be leaked, according to ESPN's Pat McAfee, who hosts the New York Jets quarterback onto his show during the NFL season.

The longtime Packers quarterback shares Kennedy's distrust of vaccine mandates and, like Kennedy, is a fixture on anti-establishment podcasts.

It seems the move by Kennedy was obvious to one Packers fan though, who reposted his remarkable prediction from April 2023 on Tuesday night.

@Packer_Pundit wrote last year: 'Jets fans gonna be big mad when Rodgers doesn't play in 2024 so he can be Robert Kennedy's running mate.'

He replied to that tweet on Tuesday once the news broke, commenting: 'My wife has requested that next time I use my powers on something useful'.

DailyMail.com exclusively revealed earlier on Wednesday that the Jets are 'upset' with Rodgers and say it is 'ridiculous' to think he could be campaigning and playing football at the same time.

A source said: 'Lots of the Jets coaches and players want Aaron to commit to the team and worry about winning the Super Bowl over a chance to be in the White House

'Aaron and Robert aren't going to win but for Aaron to consider helping run the country over playing for the team has many with the Jets all upset because you have to pick one or the other.

'Aaron can't be campaigning through the week and then play the Dolphins the following weekend. It is ridiculous.
