Caleb Williams has turned to the cartoon movie Madagascar to help shut out all the noise and rumors ahead of the NFL Draft, when he is expected to be the first overall pick.
The quarterback chatted with DailyMail.com while following Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Viktor Hovland during the opening round of The Players at TPC Sawgrass on Thursday.
It is just over a month until the NFL descends on Detroit for the 2024 draft, with the former USC star expected to the most prized recruit.
Uncertainty lingers over what the Chicago Bears – who hold the No 1 pick - will do regarding Williams and current quarterback Justin Fields.
Not that Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, seems fazed. ‘I feel good, I’m excited. It’s something you dream of as a kid. So I’m just excited,’ he said.
