Iga Swiatek dominated Maria Sakkari to win the Indian Wells Open final 6-4, 6-0 in California and claim the prestigious title for a second time.
In a rematch of the 2022 final, the world No 1 came out firing, building a 3-0 lead before the Greek worked her way back into the set at 4-4.
Swiatek reasserted herself though, the Pole dragging Sakkari from one side of the court to the other before capturing the opening set with a forehand winner. She dominated the second set, crushing a running backhand for a 3-0 lead and breaking serve for 4-0 as the world No 9 faded.
