Noni Madueke has leapt to the defence of Raheem Sterling after his Chelsea team-mate issued a public apology following their FA Cup victory over Leicester.
Mauricio Pochettino's side advanced to the semi-finals but it was a day to forget for Sterling who missed a host of great chances and was booed on three separate occasions by his own supporters.
Among those misses was a tame penalty after he took the ball off team-mate Cole Palmer.
Sterling in a message on social media wrote: 'To all the Chelsea fans, apologies for the penalty miss.
'I'll be back 10x stronger to help the team win and continue to keep fighting for the badge every day. Let's go Blues.'
