An NBA fan was seen telling Suns star Kevin Durant that Texas - his alma mater - was losing its first-round March Madness game while he was playing for Phoenix, before the Longhorns went onto be eliminated from this year's NCAA Tournament.
Sitting near the court at AT&T Center - home of the San Antonio Spurs - on Saturday night, the fan alerted Durant midway through the NBA game, letting him know at first 'hey Texas is losing baby. They're down at the half.'
Reacting to the update, the 35-year-old forward asked the fan 'score?' before he was told that the Longhorns are 'down like 10.'
'10?' Durant then asked, double-checking that he heard the point differential right.
