Ryan Wiggins has received incredible news, with the quadriplegic former footy star announcing he is expecting a baby boy with his partner, Lou Calvert.
Wiggins's life changed in 2021 when he was the victim of a near fatal accident in which he broke his spine and was placed in the ICU at the Royal Hobart Hospital before being flown to Melbourne,
As a result, fatherhood seemed out of the question, but in a miraculous turn of events, those doubts have been proven wrong.
'Since my accident I was told that kids were sort of out of the picture,' he told News Corp.
'But to see how I've turned that around with my physical health and now also expecting a little boy on the way is just super exciting.
