Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is already preparing for his post-playing career in television - with the football player getting set for hosting duties on a game show re-boot.

Kelce is set to host the resurrection of the show 'Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?' - but it appears the format will change ever so slightly.

According to US Weekly, the 34-year-old will be tabbed as the host of the show being tentatively titled 'Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?'

Kelce will be taking over the role formerly held by comedian Jeff Foxworthy when the show had its initial run on FOX from 2007 to 2009.

This won't be the first time that the show will be re-booted, as Foxworthy returned to host a revival version of the series in 2015.
