Rashee Rice's lawyer is set to hold a news conference in Dallas on Thursday afternoon, updating the public on the multiple-vehicle hit-and-run crash the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver was involved in last weekend.
The conference is expected to start at 2:30 Eastern time with Rice's lawyer, State Sen. Royce West, speaking in front of the media.
A public update comes one day after Rice personally spoke on the situation, finally taking responsibility for his role in the incident.
'Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday's accident,' Rice said in a social media statement.
'I take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities. I sincerely apologize to everyone impacted in Saturday's accident,' Rice continued.
