The Rangers' Matt Rempe is still reveling in his team's brawl with the Devils on Wednesday night - in which 10 players were involved and eight were ejected.
Straight after the opening puck drop in New York, Rangers rookie Rempe and Devils defenseman Kurtis MacDermid dropped their gloves and began fighting.
And a day later, Rempe told USA Today that the brawl was a 'banger' after his third ejection vs. the Devils in just 10 career games.
Rempe and MacDermid had history from the previous time the Devils visited the Rangers on March 11.
That night, Kempe refused MacDermid's offer to fight early in the game. Later in the contest, Rempe knocked Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler out of the game with a high elbow and was subsequently suspended for four games.
