Drew McIntyre has insisted he will leave WWE if he does not defeat Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 on Sunday.
MailSport understands the former two-time world champion is out of contract with WWE in late May and a new deal has not been agreed or signed.
Down the years in WWE, the company would phase out a star from major storylines if they were not going to sign a new contract. Dean Ambrose is a prime example of that before departing to become Jon Moxely in AEW.
For McIntyre, he's arguably been on the run of his career and certainly his best form since first becoming champion back in the coronavirus pandemic.
