Fans have taken to social media to slam the decision to award Liverpool a late penalty against Manchester United on Sunday after new footage emerged.

Luis Diaz fired Jurgen Klopp's men ahead at Old Trafford and the visitors were in full control before Bruno Fernandes pounced on an error from Jarell Quansah to level things up after half-time.

Kobbie Mainoo was the man of the moment in the 67th minute, turning to give United a surprise lead, scoring a fantastic striker.

In the final minutes of the match, Harvey Elliott appeared to be tripped by Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the box, with the referee pointing to the spot.

However, new slow-motion footage has emerged since the match and fans are not convinced that a spot-kick should have been awarded.
