Australian cricket legend Bradman is widely regarded as the greatest batter of all time, averaging 99.94 runs during his incredible Test career. Bradman famously mastered his craft by throwing a golf ball against a water tank outside his childhood home in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, using a single stump to defend his wicket. And the four-bedroom property could be yours after it hit the market this week, with Drew Lindsay Sotherby's International Realty handling the sale. The property will go to auction unless it is sold beforehand. The price guide is reportedly 'from $2.95million to $3.1million'. The 1890-built home went through an extensive three-year renovation in 2008, with modern flourishes added to its 19th century elegance. In 2013, the property was announced as the winner of the National Trust Award for Conservation and Heritage. The charming white picket home boasts polished floorboards and wood-panelled walls, with plenty of colour throughout the property. Stables at the rear of the property have been transformed into an apartment featuring a bathroom and kitchenette. Bradman is the only Australian cricketer to have received a knigthood for his services to the game, and is known as 'The Don'.
