Stephen A. Smith was highly complimentary of UConn after capturing their second straight national championship on Monday.
The Huskies dominated Purdue, 75-60, to win their sixth title in program history. Their first national championship came in 1999, marking them as one of the winningest teams in the past 25 years.
On Tuesday, Smith was asked what the Huskies proved with their title run on First Take and compared the team to NBA legend Michael Jordan.
'They're the Michael Jordan of college basketball,' Smith said. 'In their six national titles—1999, 2004, 2011, 2014, and obviously back-to-back this year—they're 6-0 in national championship games.'
'I'm looking at the coaching, I'm looking at the balanced scoring attack, I'm looking at the perimeter shooting,' Smith added.
