76ers star Joel Embiid made a near-impossible shot as Philadelphia routed the Detroit Pistons 120-102 on Tuesday night.
Embiid and company were up 67-59 with over nine minutes left in the third. The play began with Cameron Payne passing the ball to Embiid near half-court before the center calculatedly dribbled toward the three-point line.
As he approached the arch, Embiid changed gears before bumping into Detroit's Jalen Duren and falling off balance. Rather than holding onto the ball or passing it, he blindly threw it over his head and towards the hoop.
