Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Lyon boss Sonia Bompastor to succeed the departing Emma Hayes at the end of the season.

The Blues have been searching for Hayes' replacement after she announced she would leave the club in the summer to become the new United States women's national team head coach.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea have now agreed a deal for Bompastor and her assistant Camille Abily to join the club this summer.

Compensation has reportedly been agreed with the French side, with Bompastor’s contract having been due to run until 2025.
