The footage of the incident aired live on AEW's flagship weekly television show, 'Dynamite' a little over a week after Punk, who has since signed with WWE, trashed the company during a two-hour interview with journalist Ariel Helwani. The footage directly contradicts a few things Punk told Helwani and implied as facts. AEW's footage from last August lasted barely over a minute, but did not show the reported incident company CEO Tony Khan allegedly refers to when he 'feared for his life', leading to Punk's firing weeks later. Punk allegedly shoved Khan against television monitors in the AEW production area later in the evening.
