Caitlin Clark hasn't played a minute of professional basketball yet, but she's already 'one of the best basketball players in the world' according to WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.
Clark, the presumptive No. 1 pick in this month's WNBA Draft, dominated the college ranks while at Iowa, becoming the all-time leading scorer in Division 1 (men's and women's) and leading her team to consecutive national championship appearances.
And while other former greats like Diana Taurasi are skeptical that Clark will transition seamlessly to the WNBA, Leslie thinks she's ready to be a star already.
'She better be on the Olympic team,' Leslie told ESPN. 'We should not leave the country without her. She's a bona fide baller. There's no doubt she's already one of the best players in the world.'
Leslie was a three-time MVP and two-time champion for the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

Following Iowa's Final Four win over UConn (the Hawkeyes eventually lost to South Carolina in the championship), Taurasi ruffled some feathers by saying 'reality is coming' for Clark.
