Dele Alli claimed Chelsea players were 'showing their age' when they squabbled over who would take a penalty in Monday's 6-0 thrashing of Everton.

Three Blues stars were involved in a pushing contest when Noni Madueke was fouled in the penalty area and debate broke out over who would take the resulting spot-kick.

Madueke and Nicolas Jackson were then involved in a heated exchange as they began pushing each other and forcing Conor Gallagher and Malo Gusto to break-up the public altercation at Stamford Bridge.

Cole Palmer eventually grabbed hold of the ball and stepped up to smash a strike past Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to score his fourth goal of the match.

Injured Everton star Alli was providing analysis on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football when he offered up an honest verdict on the unruly behaviour demonstrated by the Chelsea stars.
