Bernardo Silva believes the potential of making more history at Manchester City has inspired Pep Guardiola’s team to be in the mix for all three trophies.

City continue the defence of their Champions League crown in Wednesday’s quarter-final second leg with ole foes Real Madrid having also jumped to the top of the Premier League at the weekend.

While Silva insisted he is refusing to contemplate a possible double Treble, he detailed the records that City could break in the coming weeks.

‘I’m not surprised no because this group has proven throughout the years that we are capable of getting to the final month of the season fighting for all the competitions,’ Silva said.

‘Now it is where all the tough things start because it is not easy. That is why only two teams won the Treble in English football because it is not easy.
