Brock Purdy - the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers' - has reportedly saved a news anchor's life while shooting for a John Deere commercial, as she was being stalked by a coyote.
Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, the 24-year-old, one-time Pro Bowl selectee (2023) was quizzed about leaping to the defense of a local CBS anchor and her dog while the wild animal was lurking around the scenes where filming for the ad was held.
McAfee and Purdy even went as far as to admit that they both didn't know coyotes were prevalent in the Bay Area.
'I can't believe that was a real thing,' Purdy, the final pick (No. 262 overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft, becoming that year's Mr. Irrelevant, said.
