Sergino Dest has revealed that PSV has entered talks with Barcelona over making his loan switch from his parent club into a permanent one.
The U.S. fullback has previously stated his desire to stay in the Netherlands with PSV beyond the 2023-24 Eredivisie season, as a reported fee of nearly $11million (£8.8M) would be required to fulfill the 23-year-old's wish, according to Goal.
On Saturday, after PSV's 6-0 trashing of Vitesse, Dest spoke to ESPN about his future. PSV sits top of the table, nine points clear of second-place Feyenoord.
The club can be crowned champions as early as next weekend, if Dest and Co. pick up their 27th win of the campaign
