Caitlin Clark's WNBA Draft has shattered viewing figures, after an average of 2.45million fans tuned in to watch her get selected by the Indiana Fever.
Clark is a superstar of college basketball, and she will now take her talents to the WNBA, after being selected No. 1 overall in Brooklyn on Monday night.
The event was given TV prominence and shown live on ESPN, with an all-female panel taking basketball fans through the picks.
Now, it has been revealed that an average of 2.45m tuned in, which is quadruple last year's figures, and more than the last seven draft nights combined.
It is also the first time the WNBA Draft has drawn more than 1 million viewers, and it also flew past the TV figures of the MLB and NHL drafts in 2023, according to reports.
