 Lonhro, one of Australia's most popular horses, has died aged 25.

The horse, who won 26 of his 35 starts - including 11 at Group 1 - passed away at his home in Kelvinside in New South Wales, Godolphin said.

'Lonhro had a huge and well-earned following, and he earnt the admiration and respect of everyone within our Godolphin teams over his years as a Darley Stallion and in his retirement,'
