As soon as Olu Fashanu hung up the phone with the Jets, finding out he was New York-bound, the former Penn State offensive lineman's mother and girlfriend to his right both wanted a piece of the 6-foot-6, 312-pound first-round draftee.
What ensued was a power struggle to touch Fashanu, with his mother having the upper hand, sitting closest to her son, in between him and his unidentified girlfriend.
