Ryan Garcia has set his sights on a clash with Errol Spence Jr just days after his extraordinary victory over Devin Haney.

After a prolonged series of bizarre and troublesome social media posts leading to concerns surrounding his well being, Garcia entered his clash with former amateur rival Haney as a sizeable underdog.

Though he missed the 140lbs weight limit by three pounds, Garcia produced a career-best performance at the Barclays Center, scoring three knockdowns en route to a majority decision win.

The victory marked Garcia's first fight under the tutelage of Derrick James, a distinguished trainer who previously served as Spence's head coach. 

The pair worked together for more than a decade before splitting after Spence suffered the first defeat of his professional career against Terence Crawford in July.
