Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has posted a video of himself in training to give another clear indication that he is ready to return to football.

De Gea departed United last summer after 12 years at the club when his contract expired and has not been picked up by another team since.

The longer the wait goes on for him to play again the more some fans may wonder if he will ever make a comeback, but De Gea appears to have no such doubts.

The 33-year-old uploaded an extended clip of himself being put through his paces at non-league Altrincham Town's ground on Instagram on Friday.

Alongside the video that showed him engaged in catching drills, shot-stopping and claiming crosses, De Gea left the caption: 'We remember. We rebuild. We come back stronger'.
