A Mets fan earned cult hero status on Tuesday night as he downed nine hot dogs and nine beers during $1 hot dog night - before being removed by security for allegedly 'inciting a riot'

The fan apparently garnered attention during the Mets' 4-2 home win over the Cubs as he tallied his beer and hot dog consumption on a shirt that humorously read 'Bad Day to be a Glizzy.'

And towards the end of the game, things got a bit out of hand as the fan's fellow Mets supporters started hurling hot dogs at him - apparently at his request - leading security to remove him from Citi Field.
