Devin Haney has broken his silence following reports that Ryan Garcia tested positive for PEDs following their fight.
Garcia, 25, secured a majority decision victory over Haney last month in Brooklyn, going into the bout as an underdog but flooring his opponent three times over 12 captivating rounds at Barclays Center.
The win marked Garcia' biggest victory of his career to date, and came after weeks of bizarre social media posts and rants in the buildup to the bout.
The high of the victory was soon turned into a major low, however, with boxing journalist Dan Rafael reporting on Thursday that the lightweight has returned a positive test for banned substance Ostarine.
The troubled boxer immediately took to social media to deny the claims Wednesday night, branding the reports 'fake news', and opponent Haney has now responded.
