Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Jadon Sancho will only be welcomed back to Manchester United if Erik ten Hag leaves the club.
Sancho left United on loan after falling out with ten Hag, and the winger is currently in fine form for Dortmund.
The 24-year-old scored in the defeat to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and produced an excellent display as Dortmund beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Ferdinand claimed that INEOS will be asking why Sancho hasn't performed to this standard for United.
Speaking on TNT Sports, former United defender Ferdinand said: 'He is in good form and needs to follow it up, then he really puts pressure on Manchester United.
